Urban Attic opened in the Fall of 2009 in the heart of Louisville’s historic and eclectic Bardstown Road. The store is a men’s and women’s consignment shop, specializing in brand name and vintage pieces. Owner Amy Schuler set out to create a new experience for the consignment shopper. She used her many years of retail experience and schooling to establish a true consignment “boutique”. When you walk into the space the uncluttered racks, dynamic displays and friendly staff allow for a comfortable and fun shopping experience. The contemporary styles found in Urban Attic are perfect for the fashionable and price savvy consumer. Urban Attic also features jewelry by local designers. These are items are one of a kind pieces that are exclusive to the store.

Currently Urban Attic carries the jewelry lines Zazu Imports and B. Ash Jewelry. Zazu Imports was established by designer Ann E. Fangman who takes beads from all over the world to create exotic pieces. In the Zazu collection you can find beads such as African Sugar Beads, Evil Eye beading from Turkey, Afghan coins, Amber, Mother of Pearl and much more. B. Ash Jewelry was created by the designer Beth Waford. Beth takes antique and vintage charms and combines them on strands with various chains and beads to create truly unique pieces of which no two are alike. B. Ash Jewelry will also create custom designs which can be ordered at the store. As an open venue for local talent Urban Attic will continue to showcase various up and coming designers throughout the year.
